These are our terms and conditions. These are, along with the references they contain, applicable to any agreement that we conclude with you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via email@example.com. Chamber of Commerce number Amsterdam, the Netherlands № 69404178. VAT NL001959218B62, BANK: NL50KNAB0258329211, BIC/SWIFT KNABNL2H. We have the right to change these terms and conditions. You agree that always the latest version of these terms and conditions on our agreement will apply.
Article 1 – Products
We sell artworks, textiles, scarves, pillowcases, illustrations, designs and wallpaper.
Article 1.1 Product Customized wallpaper
The customer selects the desired design of the wallpaper and enters the correct wall measurements and any specific wishes regarding the wall. After the order is paid, the order will be processed. The customer receives a digital proof of the design. The customer will check the design, the applied measurements and (optionally) the specific wishes. The customer has the right to make one-time changes before the design will be final. After processing the final amendments, the customer will receive a digital proof for the second time. After approval of the digital proof, the order will be processed and the wallpaper will be printed.
We do not create a digital proof of a design before we received an official order with completed payment. In case you do not like the digital proof and you do not approve; we will refund the money excluding the one-time designing costs of €60.
Article 2 – Payments
The (total) price of the products is indicated in our webshop. You can pay in our webshop with iDEAL, PayPal, ApplePay or credit card. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Article 2.1. Price ‘Customized wallpaper’
The selling price of customized wallpaper, including bathroom wallpaper, consist of two elements: Price per square meter (€59,50/m2) + one-time designing costs of €60.
Discounts will only be calculated over the square meter price; the design costs are excluded from any discounts.
Article 3 – Delivery
We deliver your order to the address you specified at checkout. You can no longer change the address once we have the order has been shipped. PostNL, DHL, UPS or DPD will take care of the distribution. Once the order has been sent, you will receive a tracking link for you to track your parcel. We do our best to deliver orders for pillowcases within 3 working days within The Netherlands. Wallpaper products are produced on-demand, delivery takes approximately 5-7 working days. Commissioned Artwork products are produced on-demand, delivery takes approximately 3-4 weeks after receipt of a written approval on order. If the order is delayed, we will notify you in writing. We guarantee that you will receive the order no later than 30 days after the confirmation of the order has been confirmed. If this is unsuccessful, you can request (a) a reimbursement of the amount you have paid for the product immediately, or (b) to send a replacement product (of equal value).
In case you are not able to collect the parcel at home and it returns to our office we will send it again, but we will charge you for the extra delivery costs.
Article 3.1 Delivery costs (excluding Art works*)
The (total) price of the order is indicated in our webshop. You can pay in our webshop with Ideal PayPal and / or credit card. The shipping costs are calculated for orders depending on country and product:

Outside EU : €75

Outside the Netherlands: €300
Article 4 – Returns
You may always return the product within 14 days after you have received it. Please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. After you have received a confirmation, you must send the product within 14 days. After we have received the product and the product is in original condition and in the original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price within 5 working days. The shipping costs for returns are for the account of the customer. During the period you have to consider whether you want to keep the product, you must handle the product and its packaging with care.
Wallpaper products and commissioned Art works are excluded from the return policy and cannot be returned as each wallpaper order/ Art work is produced on demand.
Article 5 – Liability
We are not liable for damage caused by the use of a product. This does not apply if that damage was caused by our intent, this refers to mistakes in the design or damage that has occurred during transport. Your right to compensation will in any case be the maximum amount of the ordered and paid amount.
5.1 Customized wallpaper
The client has the responsibility to give the correct measurements of the wall(s) and other specifications. The client always receives a digital proof of the design and needs to check the measurement and any other specifications of the wall. After approval on the design incl. measurements and specifications, the design becomes final and the production of the wallpaper starts. After the client’s approval, Steffie De Leeuw is no longer liable for any mistakes regarding measurements and specifications.
5.2 Checking wallpaper products
Before installing wallpaper to the wall, the products always need to be checked for mistakes, errors and damage. In case of a mistake for which Steffie De Leeuw is responsible, we will recover this and send new wallpaper as soon as possible. Steffie De Leeuw cannot take any responsibility for costs regarding a paid wallpaper service. Mistakes and damages always need to be photographed.
5.3 Customized art work
The client has the responsibility to give the correct measurements of the wall(s) and other specifications. The client always receives a digital proof of the artwork and needs to check the measurement and any other specifications on the wall. After approval on the design incl. measurements and specifications, the design becomes final and the production of the commissioned Art work starts. After the client’s approval, Steffie De Leeuw is no longer liable for any mistakes regarding measurements and specifications.
Article 7 – Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights (such as: copyrights, logos, word marks) on our texts, photos, images and other materials are our property (or we manage with the permission of the owner). Your use may not infringe this.
Article 8 – Complaints
If you have a complaint about the implementation of the agreement, please let us know. Send your complaint as quickly as possible (and as fully described as possible) to email@example.com. In case you have a complaint about a mistake in the design or about any damages, always attach photos to your email. You will receive a confirmation of your complaint within one working day. We will handle your complaint as quickly as possible and no later than three days after we have received your complaint. If it takes longer to settle the complaint, we will let you know when you can expect a substantive reply. If we cannot resolve the complaint with each other, a dispute arises that falls under the dispute settlement.
Article 9 – Dispute settlement
- Dutch laws apply on these terms and conditions and the agreements we conclude with you.
In the event of a dispute, the judge of Amsterdam is authorized.
